When you advertise your business on WFCC, your
message is reaching an educated upscale audience. Tens of thousands of
different listeners tune in each week and WFCC's 50,000-watt signal
reaches audiences throughout Cape Cod and the Islands.
Because WFCC's format is the most stable and
consistent in the country (based on WCRB's 50 years of experience in the
classical format in Boston) listeners trust the advertising messages they
hear. They depend on WFCC to play their most loved classical pieces. The
audience is loyal and devoted, with very little duplicated listening with
other radio stations. Most of WFCC's audience prefers it to all other
stations as their first choice in listening.
The WFCC audience is affluent, well educated, more
likely to be employed in a professional or managerial position and they
are well traveled. WFCC listeners represent the "money, power and brains"
segment of the market, a highly desirable buying group crossing all age
cells. They have more discretionary income than the average and they are
very active consumers.
Because the classical music we play is longer by
nature than other radio formats, our listeners tend to spend more time
listening to the station and the commercial messages stand out when they
are heard, making this format a highly effective and efficient advertising
vehicle.
In addition to regular on air commercial schedules, Classical 107.5 WFCC offers many special programming sponsorships. For detailed information on advertising and Sponsorship opportunities contact: Stephen Colella, Director of Sales, at (508) 771-1224.
Stephen Colella, Director of Sales
In broadcasting since 1980, Steve, born and raised in Providence, RI moved to the Cape area in 1983. A graduate of Williams College, Steve's philosophy in representing the station’s marketing team is that winners almost always compete by delivering a product that supplies superior value. Rather than one which costs less. "Sure, you can find cheaper radio ads on Cape Cod ... I don’t think there’s a business out there that can’t be undercut by an inferior competitor. But when you combine the expertise of our Marketing Consultants with the vast audiences our programmers have cultivated on WFCC, WQRC, WOCN and WKPE, you can’t possibly beat the results that our advertising delivers. The biggest testament to this is our advertisers. They renew year after year. Our advertiser attrition rate is practically non-existent."
